FIRST YEAR HONOURS MATHEMATICS MODULES

MH100 Honours Mathematics (Arts)

MH100 leads to an Honours BA in Mathematics and an Honours BA in Mathematical Studies. Students take MH100 as one of four subjects in First Omnibus Arts, and continue with two of these subjects in Second and Third Arts. To progress to a BA in Mathematics students must take the MA186 Advanced Mathematics option in Semester II.

MA180 Honours Mathematics (Science)

MA180 leads to an Honours BSc in Mathematics. Students take MA180 as one of four subjects in First Undenominated Science, and specialize to one of these subjects in Third and Fourth Science. MA180 is also a core subject in the Mathematics & Education BA, the Financial Mathematics and Economics BSc, and the Mathematical Science BSc.

MA102 Matamaitic Onórach (Eoláiocht & Eoláian)

MA102 is the Irish language version of MA180.
