HAPcryst
HAPcryst has two aims:
- It provides a free resolution for Bieberbach groups; this is typically far more efficient than HAP's resolution for general crystallographic groups. The resolution is derived from the combinatorial structure of a fundamental domain for the Biberbach group which is obtained using Polymake software.
- It provides tools for producing Dirichlet-Voronoi fundamental
domains
for Bieberbach groups, and for investigating how the structure of these
domains varies with the choice of orbit representative for the group.
HAPcryst is being developed by Marc Röder under Marie Curie grant MTKD-CT-2006-042685.
